PERSONAL SUPPORT NETWORK: PerSoN
At Technology Digest, we developed the Personal Support Network (PerSoN), a mobile-based system that supports individuals facing mental health challenges. PerSoN offers a secure, patient-centered platform that keeps patients, clinicians, caregivers, and loved ones connected.
Through a simple mobile app, patients can track their mood and progress while staying in touch with their support network. Clinicians can remotely monitor well-being via a web interface and provide timely care when needed.

Differentiation & Impact
Unlike traditional ePRO tools or siloed telehealth apps, PerSoN unites care delivery, research, remote monitoring, and social services into one platform. Its API-first model ensures seamless integration, while its hybrid AI + quantum-inspired optimization approach (in development) targets real-time resource allocation across health systems.
With over $250B spent annually on community health by U.S. local governments, and with CMS, HHS, and MCOs driving value-based adoption, PerSoN is positioned to capture a $1.5–$2.5B entry market in digital health infrastructure.
A scalable SaaS platform with government, pharma, and clinical adoption pathways. A trial-ready, patient-centric tool for faster, more inclusive drug development. A next-generation clinical partner that enhances patient care, retention, and remote monitoring capabilities.
PerSoN isn’t just a platform—it’s the future of mental health care and research, built to connect patients, providers, researchers, and governments in one continuous ecosystem.

ECOLOGICAL MOMENTARY ASSESSMENT (EMA)
Technology Digest has designed and developed a Next Generation EMA system which provides unprecedented data for analyzing a patient’s behavioral and clinical responses.
At Technology Digest, we’ve developed a next-generation Experience Sampling (EMA) system that captures real-time data on patients’ behaviors and clinical responses. EMA is a proven method where participants log moods and activities during daily life, offering deep insights into real-world experiences.
Our system combines random and event-contingent sampling: random prompts capture patterns over time, while event-based logging tracks key moments as they happen. This advanced approach significantly enhances our ability to monitor behavioral trends and tailor clinical interventions.
Experience sampling is a research technique in which participants record their behaviors and moods in real time in their day-to-day environments. Since the 1970s, behavioral and psychiatric research has benefited from techniques involving real-time sampling of everyday experience in which participants are instructed to initiate a diary entry whenever prompted by a beep (random sampling) or whenever the participant experiences a specified mood or event (event-contingent sampling). Random sampling provides a way to assess the relative frequency and temporal distribution of activities and moods, while event-contingent sampling provides a way to track every occurrence of a specified activity or mood.
NEIGHBORHOOD INVENTORY FOR ENVIRONMENTAL
TYPOLOGY (NIFETY)

Technology Digest’s Neighborhood Inventory for Environmental Typology (NIfETy) is a validated tool for assessing environmental factors linked to violence, alcohol, tobacco, and other drug (VATOD) exposure. It systematically evaluates neighborhood conditions—especially at night—when health and safety risks rise.
NIfETy delivers reliable, quantitative data to identify risks and guide prevention. It empowers communities, researchers, and policymakers with insights to drive meaningful public health improvements.
A growing number of tools assess the physical and social aspects of neighborhood environments, but few validated methods exist to measure features relevant to environmental prevention efforts. Most tools also overlook nighttime assessments—key periods for health and safety risks. The Neighborhood Inventory for Environmental Typology (NIfETy) is a validated, reliable epidemiologic tool designed to systematically assess environmental factors linked to violence, alcohol, tobacco, and other drug (VATOD) exposure. It captures longitudinal data on residential block characteristics, including physical and social disorder, especially during nighttime hours.

Quit4GoodLife is a patient engagement and management platform that provides a virtual environment to fill communication gaps between patients, clinicians, personal support group members and researchers.

The Research
Theory-Driven Intervention Program
Four traditional theoretical perspectives were utilized to design and develop a
private social network tailored to a virtual smoking cessation intervention program
Social Identity Theory
Social Identity is a person’s sense of who they are based on their group membership(s). The theory states that the groups to which people belonged are an important source of pride and self-esteem.
Bridging & Bonding Social Capital
Bridging social capital is the relationship between friends of friends, making its strength secondary to bonding social capital. Bonding refers to the value assigned to social networks between homogeneous groups of people and bridging refers to that of social networks between socially heterogeneous groups.
Subjective Norms Concepts
The theory states that attitude toward behavior, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control together shape an individual’s behavioral intentions and behaviors.
Social Support
Social Support refers to communication between individuals that enhances recipients’ self-esteem, provides stress-related interpersonal aid, and mitigates stressful situations caused by a negative health condition.
